Vocal ensemble Circa Terrae has prepared a surprising and full of discoveries program. One sacred and one folkloric song were chosen from the repertoire of every composer. The audience will discover new musical sides of famous composers and meet European composers that are less known in Montreal. Here are the names of those which music will be celebrated the evening of the concert: Saint-Saens, Brahms, Poulenc, Vaughan Williams, Holst, Borodin, Aliabiev, Koshitz, Rimski-Korsakov. As usual, the musicians will talk to you about their inspiration for the theme “Between sky and earth” and about the history of each song they have chosen. The excellent organist Justin Desmarais will accompany the quartet in some of the pieces. Did we catch your attention already? Come listen to us singing beautiful music on June 13, 5 pm, at the St. Peter the Apostle church in Montreal. Number of seats is very limited and social distance will be well-kept to garantee your security and the security of the musicians. Wearing a mask is mandatory. There will be no intermission. Quartet members: Antonina Levina (soprano), Olga Konovalova (mezzo-soprano), Mykhailo Sulyma (tenor) and Aleksei Lutcenko (baryton).
