Russian pianist Roman Timofeev has been heard in music halls throughout Europe since 2004.
While studying at The Moscow State Conservatory, where he was in the class of outstanding world-recognized pianist Naum Starkman, Roman was already awarded the Grand Prix in Vorzel International Competition in Kiev. In 2010 he won the First Prize in the prestigious competition Concours musical de France in Paris. Roman’s repertory embraces a wide range of musical compositions. Roman is a disciple of the Russian romantic school. His Canadian debut took place in Toronto and London (Ontario) with several successful piano recitals.
The upcoming recital in Montreal will feature the music of Mozart, Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Chopin and Rachmaninoff.
