Forget about winter and join our roundelay!

The Canadian Foundation of Russian culture in collaboration with the Consulate General of Russian Federation invites you to take part in a Winter Carnival Maslenitsa on Friday,  Feb 24th, at 18.30 at the famous La Maison Forget 3685, av. du Musée.

Come to enjoy games, live folk songs and music, dances and fun with the traditional buffoons, admire the exhibition of Russian painters, arts and crafts, try the famous Russian pancakes (blini) with caviar, salmon, jam, Russian vodka, wine (open buffet) and tea!

Come to experience the great Russian tradition to farewell winter and welcome spring!

In the program: traditional games and activities, dances, Russian and Gypsy songs, exhibition of arts and crafts, live music, popular videos, as well as a lottery draft.

In the menu: famous Russian pancakes (blini) with caviar, salmon and jam, vodka and wine at will, traditional desserts and tea from the samovar.

After four editions of Maslenitsa, the Foundation is happy to present you the new, 5th Winter Carnival! The Foundation was created in 2008 with the goal to spread among Quebecois of all origins the great cultural heritage of Russia, its finest achievements and traditions.
