The Foundation was established on November 25, 2008, with the initial goal to spread the great cultural heritage and the best achievements of Russia among the Quebecois of all origins.

The Foundation is governed by the leaders of the Russian community and the Canadians interested in strengthening cultural and business links with Russia.

Among its activities the Foundation:

1) Organizes various events (performances, presentations, discussion clubs, art lectures, exhibitions and concerts of Canadian-Russian painters, musicians and artists, etc.)

2) Offers the Russian language courses for the Canadians in partnership with the Russian school “Gramota” in Montreal, together with the access to the Russian library.

3) Informs about Russian cultural events in Montreal.
